More of Chapter 1 of They Say/I Say and On Being Adult

Students spent the first ten minutes practicing their vocabulary on Membean.com.
The class continued reading Chapter One of Gerald Graff and Cathy Birkenstein's They Say/I Say (last paragraph on page 19 through page 23). Mr. Stone pointed out the index of templates at the back of the book.
Students began drafting their essay on being adult. Mr. Stone encouraged them to try one of the templates from They Say/I Say.
Students printed out their progress for the period and placed it in the in-box for Period 3.
Homework: If you haven't finished the definition template, you should consider yourself behind and get it completed.
